Ixxat CANblue II, active CAN-Bluetooth interface for use with external antenna
The Ixxat CANblue II is a versatile Bluetooth module designed for use in CAN systems. With its three operating modes as PC interface, bridge, or gateway, it is suited for a wide range of applications, including mobile configuration, real-time analysis, and connecting CAN networks via Bluetooth. It provides a wireless communication range of up to 200 meters with a typical latency of approx. 4 ms. Multiple CANblue II devices can be linked to bridge or extend CAN networks, enabling flexible network segmentation and communication across larger areas.
The device is equipped with a D-Sub 9 plug for the CAN bus connection and a RP-SMA connector to install an external antenna. It is powered by a 32-bit microcontroller, supporting a 1 Mbit baud rate at full bus load without data loss. The galvanic isolation provides reliable protection of the device against overvoltage and voltage peaks.
An external antenna for use with the CANblue II is available for separate purchase.
