Loctite Retaining Compound Liquid

The Loctite green high strength, 50ml retaining compound liquid is designed to bond cylindrical fitting parts. This product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. The liquid is composed of urethane methacrylate and provides robust curing performance. It not only works on active metals (mild steel) but also on passive substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces. The liquid offers high-temperature performance and oil tolerance. It tolerates minor surface contaminations from various oils, such as cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protection fluids.
Note:
Testing should be carried out before contact with styrene, acrylic and polycarbonate-based plastics to ensure compatibility.
