Sensata Cynergy3 Reed Relay, 24V DC, 50W - D Series - DAR72410

Easily control your electrical processes with this reed relay from Sensata Cynergy3. Its SPNO configuration means it closes its contacts when energised to enable automatic management of your circuit. Thanks to its high isolation voltage of 17kV, the relay is protected against damage from sudden surges to ensure optimal performance, even in demanding conditions. The component's rhodium contacts have low electrical resistance for greater reliability, making it an ideal device for safety and emergency applications.

Features & Benefits

• PCB pin for ease of mounting
• Fast operating time of 3ms to ensure a rapid response
• Electromagnetic functionality means no moving parts to minimise wear
• Robust service life of approximately 1,000,000 operations at 50W for long-lasting performance
• Maximum switching voltage of 1000V AC/DC for use in heavy-duty applications

How does a reed relay work?

A reed relay consists of two metal contacts surrounded by an electrical coil. When the coil is energised, it produces a magnetic field that brings the contacts together to complete the circuit. The circuit is broken when the coil stops receiving an electrical current.
