Sensata Cynergy3 High-Voltage Reed Relay, 24V DC, 2A - D Series - DBT72410S

Automatically control the opening and closing of an electrical circuit with this reed relay from Sensata Cynergy3. Its isolation of 10kV makes it suitable for controlling high-voltage power supplies and critical equipment such as cardiac defibrillators. The device responds to a change in its magnetic field within 2ms for rapid operation. As it's magnetically actuated, there's very little mechanical wear, which helps to increase its lifespan and reduce maintenance downtime. It has spade-type terminals for a simple and secure connection that won't easily come loose.

Features & Benefits

• High maximum switching power of 50W for use in high-power applications
• Robust lifespan of 1,000,000,000 dry switching operations for long-lasting performance
• Broad operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C for use in hot and cold environments

Where are reed relays typically used?

Reed relays are commonly found in setups that require the actuation of multiple switches simultaneously or in a sequence. While they once formed the backbone of the telephone exchange system, today you'll find them in equipment like automatic testing and electronic instrumentation devices.
