Neutrik presents this ProFi professional phono plug. Featuring a spring-loaded, gold-plated retracting element around the centre contact, the ProFi Professional phono plug ensures that when the plug is mated, a ground contact is made before the signal. Conversely, when the plug is disconnected, the signal is broken before ground. This prevents damage to equipment, disturbing ’noises’ and broken speaker cones. Neutrik ProFi professional phono plugs are an ideal choice for audio professionals.
Features and Benefits
• The connector body is solid machined brass with black coated shell.
• The solid brass centre pin is gold plated as standard.
• The outer contact features a split design for extra reliability.
• Large solder contacts simplify termination
• A chuck type cable clamp, which accepts cable diameters from 3.0 to 6.5mm, provides maximum protection for the cable.
• The connectors are supplied in a bag of 2, one with a red identification collar and one with a black colour identification collar.
• Maximum rated current 16A
• Rated voltage 250V ac
