Schneider Electric Slow Break Contact Block, 1NC - Harmony XB Series - ZBE1026P

Use this Schneider Electric single contact block as a direct interface for switches or buttons that control your electrical circuits. It's easily mounted to the front of your equipment using its screw terminals, which ensure a secure fit. This method of installation also makes the unit easy to adjust and replace if needed. The slow break operation model adds a time delay to the actual contact action, for reliable operation in sensitive low-power switching systems. You can integrate this contact block with compatible electric circuit breakers, switches and stop buttons.

Features & Benefits

• Service life of 1,000,000 hours for reliable use in large-scale operations
• Gold-flashed contacts are resistant to corrosive chemicals
• IP5X (ingress protection) rating indicates protection from damage caused by dust contamination

Applications

• Emergency systems
• Storage facilities
• Assembly lines

How does a normally closed contact work?

In this NC (normally closed) contact block, current flows as long as the switch contact remains in a closed position, preventing any interference to the flow. Activation triggers the contact to open and pauses the flow of current.
