EAO Contact Block, 250V AC, 6A - 61 Series - 61-8470.22
Use this contact block from EAO for the effective performance of your illuminated, push button, keylock or selector switches. It's a snap-action switching element with two positions that allow you to switch operations on and off. The gold and silver contact material provides excellent conductivity and resistance to corrosion for reliable switching. Solder terminations ensure secure electrical connections that won't come loose, even in the event of heavy vibrations. Thanks to its voltage rating of 250V AC, you can use this contact block for low-voltage applications.
Features & Benefits
• Robust plastic housing is resistant to impact, wear and corrosion
• Light weight of just 7g to place minimal strain on your equipment
Applications
• Industrial automation
• Medical imaging equipment
• Security gates and booms
What's the difference between a momentary switch and a latching switch?
A momentary switch automatically returns to the default position after activation. A latching switch locks in place when activated and requires another action to return it to the default position. As this contact block is designed for momentary switch actions, it's a good choice for use in applications where you need to temporarily initiate or stop a process.
