RS PRO Crimp Die Set, Terminal
This crimp die set from RS PRO is designed for use with RS PRO's hydraulic crimping tool. The dies are suitable for use with wires of a maximum cross-sectional area of 10 mm². They can be used to crimp heavy-duty terminals onto aluminium and copper cables, using hydraulic action to create the required force without the need for a power supply. These dies can be safely stored in their own designated compartment in the carry case supplied with RS PRO's crimping tool. This durable, moulded plastic case ensures you have everything you need in one place.
The dies meet the requirements of US (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and European (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, meaning that they won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. They're ideal for crimping heavy-duty cable terminals onto stranded and flexible cables in applications including panel building, telecom systems and utility services.
