Molex HANDTOOL Crimp Extraction Tool, Contact Size 28 to22AWG - J5800 Series - 16142

Effectively remove crimp contacts with this professional Molex extraction tool. It's been expertly designed to extract contacts from a connector without damaging either the contacts or the connector. Suitable for standard HCS (high-current system) crimps, it can be used in a variety of settings where the contact size is between 28 and 22AWG (American Wire Gauge). You can insert this sturdy tool directly into the connection terminal until the locking tabs are completely depressed before safely extracting the contact.

• Compatible for use with all standard HCS (high-current system) crimps, for versatile application
• Compact size for easy storage and transportation
• Simple design for easy use

Applications

• Domestic wiring
• Commercial electrical systems
• Data networking

How do I know when the crimp contact is ready to be extracted?

Insert this extraction tool into the terminal housing until the locking tangs have snapped out of their locked position. If the terminal locking tabs are still not totally depressed, tightly grip the wire and push it towards the extractor tool. This will completely depress the locking tabs.
