Harting HanA Series Heavy Duty Power Connector Insert, 10A Current, 600V Voltage - 09200032611

This heavy-duty power connector insert is a cable-mount, straight male insert designed for industrial power distribution within automation and electrical systems. It provides a Compact 3-pole Plus earth arrangement for carrying mains and control power and is intended for use where robust, repeatable connections are required in panel-to-cable assemblies.

Features & Benefits

• Rated for 10A current to support moderate-power circuits
• Voltage capability up to 600V for varied supply configurations
• Silver-plated copper-alloy contacts for low contact resistance
• Accepts conductor sizes 0.75–1.5mm² to suit common cable gauges
• Screw termination with defined tightening torques for secure terminations
• Withstands −40 to +125°C enabling wide temperature operation

Applications

• Suitable for machine tool power and control cabling
• Ideal for appliance connection in manufacturing lines
• Used for connectorising mobile equipment power leads
• Can be used for panel-to-field device power distribution
• Used with heavy-duty connector housings in industrial enclosures

What conductor preparation is required for reliable termination?

Stripping length is 2.5–5.5mm and screw terminals accept stripped conductors within the specified 0.75–1.5mm² range.

How many mating cycles can be expected from the insert?

Mechanical endurance is specified as at least 500 mating cycles under normal use.

Which drivers are recommended for the screw terminals?

Slotted drivers 0.4x2.5mm or 0.6x3.5mm and PH1 are indicated for secure screw engagement.

What are the electrical withstand characteristics relevant to transient events?

The insert has an impulse withstand of 4kV and rated voltages of 230V conductor–earth and 400V conductor–conductor.

Note

Two 16P + E inserts may be accommodated within a ’Size’ 32A housing (typical stock no 363-7964)

Approvals

UL, CSA, SEV

Warning

These connectors should not be mated or unmated under electrical load. Connectors of the same or different types arranged in a line should be polarised to prevent the possibility of wrong connection.
