Harting HanA Series Heavy Duty Power Connector Insert, 10A Current Rating, 400V Voltage - 09200042711

This heavy-duty power connector insert is a panel-mounted, female electrical insert designed for industrial power connections. It provides a straight-orientation, four-pole Plus earth contact arrangement for use in demanding automation, electronics and mechanical environments, with screw termination suited to standard heavy-duty housings.

Features & Benefits

• Rated for 10 A current to support moderate power circuits
• 400V conductor-to-conductor rating for three-phase applications
• Silver-plated copper-alloy contacts to improve conductivity
• Conductor range 0.75–1.5 mm² for common cable sizes
• IP44 protection level to resist splash and solid ingress
• Tightening torque values specified for secure terminations

Applications

• Suitable for panel-mounted machinery power feeds in factories
• Ideal for control-cabinet distribution of small motors
• Used with heavy-duty housings in test and measurement rigs
• Can be used for temporary power set-ups on site equipment

What termination method is required for installation?

Screw termination is used

contact screws accept recommended drivers slotted 0.4x2.5, slotted 0.6x3.5 or PH1 for correct engagement.

How does the insert handle temperature extremes?

It is rated to operate between −40 °C and +125 °C to cope with harsh environmental ranges.

What mechanical endurance can be expected from mating cycles?

The insert endures at least 500 mating cycles, suitable for periodic disconnections.

Are there particular tightening torques for protective earth and contacts?

Contact screws should be tightened to 0.25 N·m (M3) and the PE screw to 0.8 N·m (M3.5) for correct clamping.

Note

Two 16P + E inserts may be accommodated within a ’Size’ 32A housing (typical stock no 363-7964)

Approvals

UL, CSA, SEV

Warning
