RS PRO Type J Thermocouple 2 m length, 3 mm diameter, +400°C


This reliable Type J thermocouple from RS PRO is a useful tool for temperature measurement. It employs the Seebeck effect, a phenomenon where temperature differences produce voltage contrasts, to accurately measure changes in heat. It comes with fibreglass insulation that provides protection from electric short circuits as well as shielding from electromagnetic interference.
This sensory device has a welded exposed junction that makes for a faster response rate. It also has a temperature range of -60°C and +350°C that makes it suitable for use in heavy-duty applications in harsh environments. Thermocouples are present and used in many industrial, scientific and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) applications as they are ideal for testing and development.
