Molex Wideband PCB Antenna

Balanced wideband antennas for operation between 3.0 and 3.0 GHz designed to provide ground-plane-independent performance and easy mounting. The balanced antenna design eliminates or reduces design problems caused by PCB ground-induced radiation. The antennas are fitted with a micro-coaxial cable terminated with an SMT male connector which mates with a 50 Ohm SMT MCRF jack receptacle (See RS 702-5429).

123-7154 (Molex 146184-0200) with 200mm cable
123-7155 (Molex 146184-0300) with 300mm cable

• Balanced antenna design unaffected by ground plane
• 50-Ohm input impedance
• Operating frequency range 3 to 6 GHz
• Fitted with double-sided adhesive tape for easy mounting
• Antenna size (excluding cable) 47 x 17.6 x 0.3 mm

Molex WiFi Antenna, Omnidirectional, 3 to 6GHz Frequency - 146184 Series - 146184-0200

This WiFi antenna from Molex picks up and gives out wireless radio transmissions. It's an ideal choice for upgrading an existing component in your wireless network to improve your coverage. As an Ultra Wideband device, it handles broadband signals and offers fast data transfer for reliable results. The unit's ground-plane-independent design means ground-based radiation won't harm your transfer quality or PCB. Its omnidirectional signals cover your whole space, so you can install it anywhere that's convenient.

Features & Benefits

• Cable resists 18N of force, so it's safe to use in demanding industrial environments
• Total radiation efficiency of over 62%, so you get minimal power loss when converting signals
• Peak gain of 4.0dBi gives you high power for converting electricity into radio waves

Applications

• Scanners
• Medical devices
• Consumer electronics

What connector does this antenna have?

This antenna's micro-coaxial cable has an SMT male connector that mates with a 50Ohms SMT MCRF receptacle (702-5429).
