The RS PRO fixed installation DC to AC power inverter is the ideal gadget for charging appliances when all you have available is a car battery. It works on the principle that car batteries generate direct current (DC), which is incompatible with domestic appliances, as these run on alternating current (AC). Inverters are used to power devices on the road.

The transformer produces pure sine wave, which is a smoothly varying AC that works best with delicate electronics like smart devices. It has a soft-start mechanism to limit the inrush current, helping to prevent sudden stress on the mechanical parts.

This inverter is easy to fit onto a car battery thanks to its straightforward chassis mount and comes in a durable anodised aluminium case for good heat dissipation. Built to exacting manufacturing standards, it's protected from overheating, short-circuiting and overload.
