IMI Norgren 97105 Spool Valve, NAMUR interface

Experience flawless control of compressed air flow in your pneumatic system with the 97105 valves by Norgren.
The 97105 valves are indirect solenoid operated spool valves which are suitable for use with filtered, lubricated or non-lubricated and dry compressed air. They have a robust design as the body is made of an anodised aluminium that resists wear-and-tear better than standard aluminium, and NBR seals provide protection against oils, water, and abrasions. These spool valves have an operating pressure range of 2 to 8 bar. The Norgren 97105 solenoid valves also use NAMUR interfacing, which ensures simple and fast mounting.

Features and Benefits:

• Single and double acting actuators
• Variable valve solenoid combination
• Manual override with detent
• Exhaust air recirculation
• Crossover-free switching - switch-over function guaranteed even with small cross section air supply
• Rest position in the event of power failure (monostable design)

How do solenoid spool valves work?

Solenoid spool valves have an electrical coil connected to the valve. When the solenoid coil is energised it moves the spool inside the valve, which opens and closes the different ports. As a result, the air passage is blocked or enabled depending on which port is open.
