Festo Pneumatic Solenoid/Pilot-Operated Control Valve, 3/2 Open, 24V DC - MHE4-MS1H-3/2O-QS-8

Switch between ports with speed and precision by installing this Festo monostable valve. This versatile device automates the flow of compressed air when you use it in pneumatic systems. You can also use it as a pilot-operated control valve to monitor flow pressure. It detects pressure as high as 8 bar, automatically redirecting airflow under such conditions to relieve overpressure. You can mount it in your pneumatic systems via the through-holes on the body.

• PUR (polyurethane) cable sheath is very thick and resistant to wear
• IP65 (ingress protection) rating means it's protected against dust and moisture to prevent damage
• Die-cast zinc housing is tough and resistant to increased pressure
• Mechanical spring return enables quick repositioning to base state

Applications

• Pressure relief systems
• HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems
• Medical equipment

How does the pressure monitoring in this Festo valve work?

This valve automatically decreases flow pressure if it detects high levels. This swift and accurate course correction means it can also reduce holding current and prevent any electrical sparking. The unit serves as a protective circuit to prevent damage in the event of an electrical malfunction.
