Festo High-Flow Solenoid Valve, 5 Ports, 2 States - VUVG-L18-M52-MT-G14-1P3

Use this five-port monostable solenoid valve from Festo to control your pneumatic equipment. It has an internal pilot system that automatically supplies and directs compressed air, so you don't have to operate it manually. The valve can be either NO or NC (normally open or normally closed) and has a flow rate of 1300l/min, so you can attach it safely to high-pressure systems. It's encased in protective wrought-aluminium alloy material, which is resistant to rust. Use this valve in your industrial machines to distribute and mix gases.

• Can be attached either via manifold rail or using through-hole mounting, for convenient installation
• +5°C to +60°C operating temperature range for use in diverse environments
• IP65 (ingress protection) rating prevents dust and water from entering the valve

Applications

• Gas plants
• Printing presses
• Agriculture
• Food packaging
• Robotics

What is meant by 'monostable function'?

This monostable valve is also referred to as a single-acting valve. When electrical actuation takes place, the valve becomes energised and active. If the power is cut off, it quickly returns to its base position thanks to the mechanical spring reset.
