Festo Monostable Solenoid Valve, 24V DC, 8 Bar - MHE2-MS1H-5/2-M7

Easily regulate the flow of compressed air in pneumatic systems with this solenoid valve from Festo. It uses electricity to automatically allow and stop the air supply to the system, reducing the need for manual control for improved efficiency. This component is made of die-cast zinc material that's durable and corrosion-resistant, so you can be assured it won't rust. It has hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) and nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) seals that prevent air leakages and optimise performance.

• Spark-arresting function to prevent the emission of flammable debris for fire safety
• Can be assembled in any position to suit design specifications
• Wide operating temperature range of -5°C to +60°C for use in demanding conditions
• Compact 10mm width to fit into tight spaces
• 8 bar operating pressure limit for heavy-duty applications

Applications

• Air compressors
• Metering devices
• Medical and dental equipment

How do I maintain this component?

A solenoid valve should be cleaned periodically to ensure reliable performance. When it's clean, you can hear a small click as the armature operates. Excessive noise, leakage and slow operation are indicators that cleaning is needed. You should also check and replace worn or damaged components regularly.
