Festo Proximity Sensor Mounting Kit For Use With SMAT Series Position Transmitter, Size 8 - SMBR-8-8/100-S6

Conveniently install your proximity sensor using this Festo mounting kit. It's designed for use with the SMAT series of position transmitters, which detect the presence of objects without physical contact. The polyacetal clamp keeps a strong grip on the cable and helps hold it in place while it's attached to machinery. The sensor cable is easy to insert using the round guide slots in the mounting kit. You can use this set to correctly attach compatible proximity sensors to pneumatic systems.

• High corrosion resistance prevents degradation
• Free of copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) for environmental safety
• Features non-corrosive high-alloy steel screws

Applications

• Food packaging
• Chemical plants
• Factory automation

How durable is this mounting kit?

This mounting kit is housed in a durable wrought-aluminium alloy that's resistant to cracking when handled under pressure. This ensures a long service life even in heavy-duty installations.

How do I install a proximity sensor with this mounting kit?

This mounting kit is ideal for use in T-slot installations. Simply insert the cable of the proximity sensor into the mounting thread, using the polyacetal clamp to hold it in place, then attach it to your equipment for a secure fit.
