Festo Double-Action Pneumatic Semi-Rotary Actuator, 180° Rotary Angle - DRRD Series - DRRD-12-180-FH-PA
Choose this rotary actuator from Festo when you need to synchronise valve rotation using compressed air. It has a rack-and-pinion mechanism with swivelling angles between +10° and -100° degrees for smooth 180° rotation. Both ends are protected by self-adjusting cushion rings that respond to changes in position, enabling greater accuracy. As the driveshaft is made from corrosion-resistant high-alloy steel, it will last a long time, even when used in harsh environments. This type of component is commonly used for regulating quarter-turn valves in machines.

How does semi-rotary actuator work in pneumatic installations?
Filtered compressed air enters the chamber in which the actuator is housed. The air causes the piston to move along the rack, turning the valve in the set direction.
