IMI Norgren Pneumatic Piston Rod Cylinder, Magnetic Sensor, G1/8 Thread Size - RM/8000/M Series - RM/8020/M/100

Use this double-acting pneumatic piston rod cylinder from IMI Norgren to position, clamp or eject small components in your machinery. The device features a shock-absorbent PUR buffer to prevent the rod from damaging the cap or head during use. It's simple to add it to your existing setup thanks to its regulation G1/8 port connection. Once inserted, the cylinder will withstand up to 10 bar of pressure, so is suited to small and medium applications. The double-action design means this pneumatic piston rod cylinder operates in both directions for use in systems such as safety gates.

Features & Benefits

• Wide operating temperature range of -10°C and +80°C suits demanding environments
• Stainless steel rod is corrosion-resistant for long-lasting use in heavy-duty applications
• Compact dimensions of 195 (length) x 30mm (diameter) to save space

Applications

• Factory production
• Transportation industry
• Packaging machinery

How does a double-acting cylinder work?

A double-acting cylinder moves the piston backwards and forwards from both ends. It does this by alternating which port receives the high-pressure air.

What type of actuator switch can you use with this product?

You can use a magnetically-operated reed switch (218-0616) to stop or start your system quickly.
