Festo Pneumatic Cylinder, Flexible Cushioning Rings, M5 Port Connection - ADN-16-30-I-P-A

When you need a hardworking multitasker, choose this pneumatic cylinder from Festo. Its double-action rod moves in and out, enabling you to push and pull, as well as raise and lower, a whole host of items. This makes it well-suited to pick-and-place tasks. The clever design gives it a length of 69.7mm when the rod is fully extended, so you'll find it easy to fit into compact systems. There are slots on three sides of the body, offering you a flexible way to flush-mount a proximity sensor (121-5836). An integrated magnet makes contactless position sensing a breeze.

Features & Benefits

• Handles temperatures between -20°C and +80°C to cope with harsh plant and manufacturing conditions
• Anodised-aluminium cover and high-alloy steel rod ensure durability
• Works in any position and has through-screw and direct mounting options for installation versatility

Applications

• Packaging lines
• Warehousing
• Plant machinery
• Robotics systems

What are the cushioning rings for?

The cushioning rings on this pneumatic cylinder absorb residual energy. This lets you work without friction at high speeds, so there's minimal wear and tear. As the cushioning is elastic, there's no need to adjust it.
