IMI Norgren Pneumatic Fitting, Threaded, Bright Nickel Plated - 15 Series - 150236828

Need a component that doesn't buckle under pressure? As it has a maximum operating pressure of 18 bar, this IMI Norgren pneumatic fitting is built for the job. Help you make a seamless connection between different-sized tubes. A nickel-plated finish stands up to corrosion to give you a long service life. Plus, the material handles temperatures from -18°C to +70°C, so it's suitable for use in demanding installations.

Features & Benefits

• Tapered threads for easy fitting
• Flat soft alloy washer helps you achieve a tight fit
• Hex nut for tightening and loosening with a spanner

Applications

• Robotics systems
• Vacuum pumps
• Agricultural equipment
• Marine industry
• Production lines

How do I measure the threads of a pneumatic fitting?

To identify the thread size of a pneumatic fitting use a caliper to measure the inner diameter of the female thread or the outer diameter of the male one. Then, use a thread pitch gauge to determine the thread pitch and double-check the measurements against a thread size chart. Finally, visually identify whether it's an NPT, BSPT or BSPP thread type.
