A compact pitch size of 3.5mm means it comfortably handles smaller wires. The copper alloy contacts have good electrical conductivity to help ensure reliable current transmissions to your board. For durability, the surface of these contacts is plated in hot-dipped tin which resists damage from impacts and corrosion.
As the unit is encased in an insulated polyamide housing, it protects you from electric shocks. This casing is also heat-resistant, so you can rest assured the internal workings stay cool in harsh conditions. A wide operating temperature range between -40°C and +100°C means you can safely use this header in demanding environments.
