The TE Connectivity cage assembly serves as a housing for the connector and mating transceiver. The cage assembly is a frame with compliant pins for mounting onto the host printed circuit board. The cage assembly features front perimeter electromagnetic interference springs. These springs block any EMI emissions emanating from the transceiver when installed.
