What is a Flush Cutter?

A flush cutter has a flat bottom to the jaw shape that requires them to be used on a flat surface flush to what is being cut and results in a slightly less durable blade than a bevelled edge.

So why use a flush cutter?

Flush cutters are designed specifically for a precision straight cut that with leave no angle or ’spike’ once cut and are ideal for use on delicate or small components where precision is paramount.
