Kunbus modular gateway solutions


The Kunbus Gateway enables continuous and reliable communication between different networks and systems & applications. The Gateway will convert all data that the target network can handle in the transfer. It will automatically omit any non-transferrable data, additionally adding any necessary data into the network.

Features and benefits


• Plug & Play capabilities with this Gateway via DIN rail capabilities meaning it can be detached/reattached easily.

• The protocols are inside compact modules, with housings at 22.5 x 101.4 x 115 in size. You can easily exchange the protocol modules to conveniently connect one network to another.

• KUNBUS Gateways are equipped with an integrated web server and program parts on the Gateway are updateable via an FTP server.

• KUNBUS Gateways help reduce stock costs. Due to their modular structure, you can wait with the configuration until the exact time of delivery to your customer.

• Galvanised isolation to help prevent current flow between two or more sharing units.

• Conventional gateways often have to be replaced in their entirety upon failure, however with KUNBUS if you can isolate the offending gateway, you can replace the defective module only, therefore, saving you long-term on costs and keeping your key continuous operation intact.

• Diversely combinable with the most important industrial protocols for communication networks.

The RevPI Gate PROFINET IRT is used to integrate the RevPi core into an existing PROFINET network without any problems. The PROFINET Gateway is connected to the RevPi Core base module via the upper system connector. Up to two different gateways can be connected per basic module.
