Allen Bradley PLC I/O Module For Use With SLC 500 Series, 24V DC, 32 Inputs - 1746-IB32
This I/O (input/output) module from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range allows for communication between your SLC 500 series PLC (programmable logic controller) and its secondary devices. It has 32 I/O points with four 8-point commons that connect to your PLC channels, processors and power supplies. This module is commonly used in factory automation to ensure commands are clearly defined for each separate machine and that the system runs as smoothly as possible.
Features and Benefits
• Maximum signal on or off delay of 3ms (milliseconds) to ensure rapid switching response• Operating temperature range of 0°C to +60°C makes it suitable for industrial environments• Backplane current of 50mA at 5V limits throughput and prevents current overloads• Maximum thermal dissipation of 6.9W to prevent overheating in the unit
Standards and Certifications
• UL (Underwriters' Laboratories)• CSA (Canadian Standards Association)• CE (Conformité Européenne)• EN (European Norm)• ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority)
Does the operating voltage range vary between temperatures?
ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014
BSEN 61340-5-1:2007
BSEN 61340-5-1:2007
Yes, it does. At +50°C, the module has an operating voltage range of 15 to 30V DC. And at +60°C it ranges from 15 to 26.4V DC.
