Applications

Synthetic resin bonded paper tubes, also known as phenolic paper laminate tubes, are primarily used as electrical insulation components, for example, bobbins, coil formers, insulating spacers and sleeving due to their great insulation properties. Commonly found in a variety of workplaces for different applications such as structural components, handles and even containers for pyrotechnics and other such products.

What is Laminated Plastic?

This type of plastic is a special form of polymer-matrix compound consisting of layers of reinforcing materials that have been impregnated with thermosetting resins, bonded together and cured under heat and pressure. Laminated plastics are available in sheet, tube and rod forms which can be cut and machined for a variety of uses.
