iglidur® J plain bearings may be used for long-life applications, and are also suitable for use with soft shafts. The iglidur® J plain bearings are designed to provide the lowest coefficient of friction while running dry, and offer a low stick-slip tendency.

Note

iglidur® J plain bearings are not suitable for use where a maximum permissible surface pressure of 35 MPa may occur, where high pressures may be present, where there are short-term temperature increases (above 120°C), or applications where a low-cost bearing for occasional movement is required.
