This device is encased in PC/ABS (polycarbonate/acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) thermoplastic material which offers heat resistance up to +60°C, so you can rely on it in demanding environments. The core components of this piezo buzzer are the piezoelectric ceramic and a metal plate held together by a strong adhesive. The piezoelectric element is flexible and allows a current of up to 230V AC to pass through it which causes it to shrink and expand. The resulting vibration produces sound waves.
