In addition to the pH electrode immersion probe, the device contains an NTC (negative temperature coefficient) probe that compensates for temperature to ensure a higher degree of accuracy. The electrolyte gel and dual-wall diaphragm ensure the probe is reliably leakproof and able to withstand immersion in foods and soil without damage.
