The Molex PCB 54722 series surface mount vertical socket with 16 contacts. It has a durable blade-on-beam contact and tails that provide strong solder fillets. The design of the SlimStack board-to-board connector includes a metal friction lock that provides extra mating retention. This makes it ideal for portable applications subjected to vibration or shock. It has a voltage rating of 50V and a current rating of 500mA. The socket has gold- plated phosphor bronze contacts. It is used as portable and handheld equipment.
