The Hammond 1557B2BK is ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards. It can be used either in a table top configuration or two different wall-mount configurations. The Hammond 1557B2BK has rounded corners and face which gives it a more modern look. It has superior water-tight ratings. It comes with a gasketed lid with two piece “tongue & groove” construction. This provides protection against access of oil, dust and water. The gasket is one piece made from high temperature, U.L. listed silicone.
