RS PRO IDS-1000B Series Visual Persistence Digital Oscilloscope

RS PRO IDS-1000B Series Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSO) are general purpose instruments which include exceptional features for a great-value price. They are equipped with Visual Persistence Oscilloscope (VPO) technology. This uses a high-density IC for hardware acceleration to transfer all the acquired data into the displayed waveform image. The 256 colour gradient display function shows waveform details in gradients while measuring fast-changing analog signals.

The memory depth enables clear differentiation of detail in signals under observation. Clear spectrum quantities obtained under the FFT mode are comparable with those obtained by use of a spectrum analyser. The zero key function allows users to restore the previous waveform location and settings. Trigger types include Edge, Pulse, Width, Video, ALT, Runt, Rise & Fall, Event-Delay, Time-Delay, Timeout, Logic, RS232, 12C, SPI. All this comes in a compact (380 x 208 x 127.3 mm) casing designed for portability and comfort-in-use.

  • Typical Applications

Digital oscilloscopes are a complex and multi-functional electronic laboratory instrument used to capture, process, display and analyse the waveform and bandwidth of electronic signals. DSO versions have a memory to store waveforms and display them over a period of time. Oscilloscopes are used in a wide range of industries e.g.
