Fluke 120B Series Oscilloscope, 40MHz Bandwidth, 2 Channels - FLUKE-125B/UK/S

This handheld oscilloscope is a portable diagnostic instrument for industrial electrical and electro-mechanical troubleshooting. It combines waveform capture, dual-input metering and recorder capabilities to inspect voltage, current and power characteristics on-site, and it interfaces with a PC or mobile devices via an optically isolated USB link or optional wireless adaptor for data transfer and archiving.

Features & Benefits

• 40 MHz bandwidth provides clear viewing of industrial signals
• 8.75 ns rise time captures fast transient behaviour
• 5 mV/div sensitivity enables detailed low-amplitude observation
• 200 V/div maximum vertical range for high-voltage testing
• Two independent channels allow simultaneous volt and current capture
• Battery operation with USB Interface supports field portability

**Applications**

• Suitable for commissioning motor drives and inverter outputs
• Ideal for measuring power characteristics and harmonics on-site
• Used for diagnosing intermittent faults with extended recording
• Can be used for industrial bus physical-layer signal assessment
• Suitable for routine electro-mechanical maintenance and trending

How does it log intermittent events for later analysis?

The recorder can capture waveform samples or meter readings to internal memory or an SD card, with event tagging to mark deviations and enable Rapid navigation through recorded anomalies.

What power-measurement functions are available on the instrument?

It computes Active and reActive power, apparent power, power factor and frequency from the two inputs, and can analyse harmonics up to the 51st for power quality assessment.

What safety and environmental attributes affect site use?

The instrument meets relevant EMC standards and is rated to permit operation at specified installation categories and floating voltages, and it is constructed to withstand vibration, shock and IP51 ingress levels.

How long will it run between charges and how is it recharged?

A rechargeable Li-ion battery provides multi-hour operation and is replenished via the supplied charger

charging can be performed with the instrument powered on or off.
