Allied Telesis Fast Ethernet Media Converter
The AT-MC102XL is part of the MC100 series and is a TX to FX fast ethernet media converter with multi-mode SC fiber connectors. These media converters let you extend the distance of your network by interconnection LAN devices that are physically separated by large distances.
The Allied Telesis standalone media converter is designed to convert 100TX to 100FX conversion with multi-mode SC fibre connectors supporting up to 2km. It is powered by an external power supply unit for use in standalone applications and compatible with the MCR12 chassis, which powers all the converters with a single internal power supply. It can be installed in an optional AT-MCR12 rackmount chassis.
