This DOL starter from Rockwell Automation reduces system shock when starting an induction motor at full power. This ensures a smooth start and decreased downtime due to vibration-related issues. Consisting of a moulded case circuit breaker, a contactor and a protective overload relay, this device is designed to prevent electrical overload to the motor during start-up. It's ideal for use on bridge cranes, monorails and shrink wrap machines that use low-horsepower squirrel cage induction motors. Because it's fully solid-state, there are no moving parts in this DOL starter, so it won't suffer mechanical damage, giving it a long working life.
