Schneider Electric LUC Series DOL Starter, 5A Current, 3kW Power - LUCA05FU


This DOL starter is a Compact direct-on-line control unit designed to start and protect 3-phase motors in industrial installations. It integrates thermal-magnetic overload and short-circuit protection with phase loss and imbalance monitoring, and is intended for plug-in use on compatible power bases in automation and electrical control panels.

Typical operating times are 50 MS to close and 35 MS to open on compatible bases.

What environmental conditions can it tolerate in service?


It operates between -25 to 70°C, stores between -40 to 85°C, and is rated for altitudes up to 2000 m.

Which insulation and impulse voltage ratings apply to the control and main circuits?


Rated insulation voltage is 690V with a 6 kV impulse withstand Value and 400V SELV separation between circuits.

How does it behave electrically under overload trip?


The tripping threshold is 14.2xIr ±20% with thermal class 10 performance across 40 to 60 Hz.
