Protect motor starters from current overload and short circuits with this direct on-line starter from Schneider Electric's TeSys range. It covers all the basic protection requirements for motor starters and features a compact shape and robust design. The smart device stops phase imbalances and failures from damaging motors. It's resistant to shock and vibration, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. You can safely use this component in the presence of other electronic devices, thanks to its immunity to electrostatic discharge.

Schneider Electric TeSys U


The TeSys U is a modular system for motor control; it enables the user to create a customised solution for their control requirements, from a series of standard modules. The plug-in modules allow the assembly and wiring before the selection of motor protection parameters and control voltages, they can be created or changed in seconds by changing the plug-in modules. A host of DOL starting applications can be catered for.

Tesys model U is easy to select:


First choose a Power Base- 12A or 32A, direct on line or reversing. The power base includes 2 auxiliary contacts.
Then choose the plug-in protection module by motor full load current and control voltage required.
Additional plug in functions can be selected and added at any time.
The plug-in bases can use any LU9 type blocks see stock no. 493-8779 for base option
