The Omron PG-X3 Option allows the user to connect an incremental line driver encoder (PG) for motor speed feedback to the drive and take advantage of the V/f with PG, Closed Loop Vector, and Closed Loop Vector for PM motors control modes. The option helps increase the control accuracy and performance.
