KEMET F Series FO-CAP

KEMET F series series high temperature surface mount C0G and X7R Dielectrics Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) feature a robust, base metal dielectric system that offers industry-leading performance relative to capacitance and case size combined with capacitance stability at extreme temperatures.

Lead-Free, RoHS and REACH compliant
Extremely low ESR and ESL
High thermal stability
High ripple current capability
No capacitance change with respect to applied rated DC voltage
No capacitance decay with time
Non-polar
Matte tin-plated terminations

Typical applications include Decoupling, Bypass, Filtering and Transient Voltage suppression in extreme environments such as Down-hole Exploration, Aerospace Engine compartments and Geophysical probes

0805 Range

Nickel barrier terminations covered with a layer of plated Tin (NiSn). Applications include mobile phones, video and tuner designs, COG/NPO is the most popular formulation of the "temperature compensating", EIA Class I ceramic materials, X7R, X5R formulations are called "temperature stable" ceramics and fall into the EIA Class II materials, Y5V, Z5U formulations are for general purpose use in a limited temperature range, EIA Class II materials; these characteristics are ideal for decoupling applications.
