C1206 Series

Kemet C1206 series X5R and X7R dielectric surface mount capacitors features a high maximum operating temperature. The Electronics Components, Assemblies & Materials Association (EIA) characterizes the dielectric as a Class II material. Components of this classification are fixed, ceramic dielectric capacitors suited for bypass and decoupling applications or for frequency discriminating circuits where Q and stability of capacitance characteristics are not critical.

Lead-Free, RoHS, and REACH Compliant

Temperature stable dielectric

Non-polar

Matte tin-plated terminations

1206 Range

C0G (NP0) is the most popular formulation of the "temperature-compensating", EIA Class I ceramic materials

X7R formulations are called "temperature stable" Ceramics and fall into EIA Class II materials

Y5V formulations are for general-purpose use in a limited temperature range. These characteristics make Y5V Ideal for decoupling applications
