C8051F58x/59x Microcontrollers, Silicon Labs

The Silicon Labs C8051F58x/59x automotive and industrial microcontroller (MCU) devices are ideal for applications needing significant performance (50 MIPS) and integration (12-bit ADC) into a constrained space. Available in small form factor packages; 32-pin QFN/QFP (5 x 5 mm), 40-pin QFN (6 x 6 mm) and 48-pin QFN/QFP (7 x 7 mm).

Pin-for-pin compatibility exists between the C8051F58x/59x and C8051F55x/56x/57x series and between the C8051F50x/1x and C8051F54x series.

On-chip Voltage Regulator, Power-On Reset, VDD monitor, Watchdog Timer and clock oscillator combine to make these microcontrollers standalone System-on-a-Chip solutions.

Flash memory can be reprogrammed even when in-circuit, providing non-volatile data storage, and also allowing field upgrades of the 8051 firmware. Using the software you have full control over all peripherals which you can shut down to save power.

They are specified for 2.7 V to 3.6 V operation over the automotive and industrial temperature range (-40°C to +125°C).
