The Microchip Development board is a hardware platform used to evaluate the ATA6570, ATA6571 and ATA6574 CAN devices and to enable users to rapidly prototype and test new CAN designs with the ATA657X ICs. The ATA657X device family includes three high-speed Controller Area Network (CAN) transceivers, which interface with a CAN protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus designed for high-speed CAN applications (up to 5 Mbit/s) in the automotive environment.
