RS PRO SPDT Short Roller Lever Microswitch, 16 A @ 250 V AC


This lever-style microswitch from RS PRO is a safety device. You can use it to open up a circuit when needed, preventing a machine from being turned on or a door from closing when someone is in the way, for example. It has a single pole double throw configuration that enables you to switch between two circuits.

The switch's positive snap action means it reacts quickly to any degree of pressure. Fine silver-plated contacts offer excellent conductivity and it has a long mechanical and electrical life. Quick-connect terminals make for easy assembly. It has a robust, glass-filled thermoplastic casing making it suitable for heavy-duty applications.

The switch conforms to a range of international standards. It meets IEC 1058-1 as a safe and reliable switch, as well as meeting CE European and CSA safety standards. You can find these switches in car doors, vending machines and telecommunications equipment.
