ABB MCB, 6A Current Rating, Type B Tripping - S200 Series - 2CDS252001R0065 S202-B6

Protect your electrical setups against overcurrent with this 2-pole MCB from ABB. To prevent damage to machinery, it disconnects power supplies when a fault occurs. With a maximum voltage of 400V AC, it's a versatile option for a wide range of residential and commercial installations. A compact size of 88 (L) x 35 (W) x 69mm (D) makes it a space-saving option for installation on crowded distribution boards. Conveniently snap it onto a DIN rail without the need for specialist tools.

Features & Benefits

• Front toggle switch for easy identification of contact position
• Tough plastic housing protects against impact damage in challenging conditions

Applications

• Distribution circuits
• Lighting installations
• Domestic appliances
• Computer systems
• Office equipment

What's the tripping curve of this MCB?

The unit has Type B tripping characteristics, meaning it trips when the current flow is more than 3 to 5 times the rated 6A current. It's the most sensitive kind of MCB and is used in situations where current surges are minimal.

How does this MCB work?

In the event of a fault, a bimetallic strip heats and bends to open the unit's contacts and break the power supply.
