Fluke Loop Calibrator, ±0.01% Accuracy, 1 μA Resolution - Fluke-709H

This loop calibrator is a handheld instrument designed to source, simulate and measure 4–20 mA loops with HART communication capability for field commissioning, troubleshooting and routine maintenance. It combines a Compact form factor with a graphic backlit display and a simple rotary Quick-Set control to speed setup and operation in confined or poorly lit environments.

Features & Benefits

• Accuracy of 0.01% reading enables precise calibration and verification
• Resolution of 1 μA on current ranges supports fine adjustment tasks
• Built-in selectable 250 Ω resistor allows HART signal coupling
• 24V DC loop power at 20 mA permits Active loop testing
• Logging capacity of 9,800 records aids systematic fault analysis
• Operating range -10 °C to +55 °C supports varied industrial conditions

Applications

• Suitable for commissioning HART-enabled transmitters on process plants
• Ideal for loop tuning and in-situ transmitter trimming activities
• Used for field logging of current and HART device parameters
• Can be used for routine mA source and simulate checks in control cabinets
• Used with handheld diagnostic software to upload device configurations
