Forming part of Druck's essential range, the UPS II loop calibrator is a high quality, handheld, pocket-sized process instrument. The loop calibrator has been created and designed for checking and simulating 2-wire transmitters and stroking valves. You'll commonly find the calibrator being used within applications in the process industry, but with its ease of portability and microprocessor-based electronics, it can be taken out in the field to be used in many other commercial and industrial applications.
Features & Benefits
The output currents are adjustable to a resolution of 10 micro amps within both source and transmitter simulations Auto-stepping for hands-free calibration Auto-ramp cycling for endurance tests Sources and reads in milliamps (mA) Has an internal loop power of 24 Volts (voltage) Reads and powers two-wire transmitters Simulates and reads dp-transmitters Fixed calibration currents Fixed currents for valve stroking, enabling users to check for correct seating and operation of the valve The dimension measurements of the loop calibrator are L124 x W77 x D21 mm The calibrator can display readings in percentage of a 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA span If the loop calibrator has a loop mismatch, low power supply (battery), or is over range it will be indicated via the digital interface Features an operating temperature of 15°F to 120°F (-10°C to 50°C) Weight: 285 g included batteries Housing: High impact ABS Batteries: 4 x 1.5 V AA Battery life: Sources 12 mA 13 hours, Measures 64 hours
