This snap limit switch from the RS PRO range is an electromechanical detection device that's used to count objects as they pass by. It's detection features also make it a great tool for safety interlocks and control systems for machinery.

Snap limit switches use springs to open and close connections, allowing them to change the direction of power between two devices quickly. Essentially, they act as sensors, making or breaking electrical connections whenever triggered by contact. This model is very easy to use and has a handy screw terminal. It’s made from sturdy zinc alloy and is resistant to electromagnetic disturbances.

This limit switch has a standardized dimension to comply with EN 50047 and EN 50041. The metal casing complies with IP66, while the double-insulated plastic casing that's built to IP65 standard. These protections make it suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications.
